    View all model FAQs
Which processor and memory generation does the WR5220 G3 use?

The brochure describes a 2U dual-socket rack server supporting 4th or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors and DDR5 memory. If a listing or quotation also uses a channel designation such as WR5228, verify the exact machine type and bill of materials; similar names do not prove identical options.

What is easy to overlook when expanding storage in a WR5220 G3?

Do not add the maximum SAS/SATA, NVMe and E3.S counts together. The brochure presents different storage arrangements and separately identifies M.2 boot devices. Confirm the chassis, AnyBay backplanes, cables and controllers, then validate the interfaces and bays available for this configuration.
