    View all model FAQs
Is the ST45 V3 intended for branches without a standard server rack?

The document positions it as a single-socket entry-level tower server for remote or branch locations, using AMD EPYC 4004 processors. It can be considered for those deployments, but site conditions, power and workload capacity still need checking. A tower form factor does not remove cooling or operational requirements.

Can I use RDIMMs from a large rack server in the ST45 V3?

Do not assume so. This ST45 V3 brochure specifies DDR5 ECC-UDIMMs, not RDIMMs. Sharing the DDR5 name does not make these module types interchangeable. Validate the supported module type, capacity and part number before purchasing memory.
