Are the HGX and PCIe GPU versions of the R5300 G5 interchangeable?

No. The brochure separately lists an NVIDIA HGX A800 4-GPU module, an 8-double-width-GPU module and a 20-single-width-GPU module, with different connectivity and expansion slots. Confirm the module type and accelerator form factor; generic GPU support does not establish replacement compatibility.

Which memory generation does the R5300 G5 use, and can I copy a G6 memory configuration?

This R5300 G5 document lists 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors and DDR4 memory, with up to 32 memory slots. A G6 DDR5 configuration must not be copied across. Validate capacity, module type and population rules against the CPU, memory part numbers and applicable manual.
