Check the entity, scope and validity
Request verifiable current credentials and check the legal entity, issuer, product or territory scope and expiry date. Cross-check through the manufacturer’s available partner resources; H3C provides a partner-query entry point. Images and logos alone do not establish current authorization. Technical, sales and service credentials are not interchangeable.
Verify coverage for the actual device and region
Clarify whether support is manufacturer warranty or supplier service, its territory, duration, contact process and on-site coverage. After delivery, check the actual serial number and any required product details against manufacturer records, retaining the order, invoice and lookup result. HP documents a country/region and serial-number lookup process; other brands have their own rules.
Separate response commitments from repair targets
Service response, spare-parts arrival and restoration are different milestones. Confirm the applicable hours, locations, exclusions and responsible party for each. If a renewal or service record is pending, mark it as unverified until evidence is available. This checklist does not certify any supplier’s partner tier or replace contractual service terms.
Frequently asked questions
Select a question to expand its answer.
Does a partner certificate prove warranty coverage for every product?
No. Verify partner status and device coverage separately against the supplied equipment, sales region and service terms.
Can a pending renewal be presented as a valid new certificate?
No. State that renewal is pending if appropriate; do not present an expected tier or validity period as already effective.
